Is Online Really for You?

HI (1).png

I get asked this quite a lot, especially from people who have a brick-and-mortar business or who've worked in corporate.

Trying to make the transition to online is really quite confusing if you don't know exactly how it all works. Don't worry. We have a couple of courses at Penny Comins Coaching that will help you understand how it all works, so the how is fine.

Bottom line: It's all learnable.

I want to give you an example of a similar mechanism that you are already familiar with: TV advertisements. A TV ad encourages you to come to the local dentist to, say, get your fillings done or your teeth whitened. It doesn’t ask you to buy an online course or to be coached by the dentist.

Online is not just for courses and coaches. Online advertising is possible and profitable for any business.

If you own a brick-and-mortar business, online is most definitely for you, because, as you can see from this example, when people advertise on TV, they're not trying to get you to buy a TV or buy one of the programs that are on TV. It’s the same for online advertising.

The goal is to get the customer off the couch and into your shop—maybe even to buy another couch. This is why online is for absolutely everyone. You can reach so many people so quickly, and the great thing is you can make changes to campaigns and deals much faster than you can in print or on TV.

So, is online for you? Yes, it is.
