Use the Power of P. S. in Email Marketing


I want to talk to you about the power of the P. S. So many people leave it off their emails when it is such an important part of your communication.

The P. S. is the second most read part of your email. The first is the subject line, because that gets people to open it.

Then, unfortunately, you might have put all that time and effort into the body of the email, but the one thing that everyone will always read is the P. S. It's human nature. We always just jump to the bottom and see what's happening.

So, the most important thing that you can do is have a P. S.

The second most important thing is you need to do is summarize exactly what you've put in the email, and make it really juice in the P. S. Don’t recap it in bullet points. Instead, keep it down to two juicy sentence that include a call to action, whether it's to go through to a link or book a call or purchase something or forward an email on. Whatever you want them to do, make sure you pop that in the P. S.

It can be quite hard for some people to bring it down to two sentences, but, I tell you what, you'll capture so many more people by having that powerful P. S.
