Create Your Elevator Pitch

Have you ever had trouble coming up with a coherent answer when someone asked you what you did for a living? Being an online entrepreneur can seem hard to describe, but it’s easy, really!

I’m going to tell you how to create your best elevator pitch so you feel super confident when you're heading out to dinner parties, networking events, or telling people online what you do. It's really simple. All you need to know is who you help, how you help them, and what great results you get.

So for example, I'm Penny Elliot, and I help female entrepreneurs create the rich and relaxed lifestyle through either one-on-one mentorship, our Get Momentum Mastermind, or through our group programs. It's as easy as that. And you can do it, too.

Now it’s time to sit down and write out what it is you do, who you help, and, most importantly, the transformation they get. And make sure you keep it within about 30 seconds. It's called an elevator pitch because it's what you used to say in the elevator before we were on our phones the whole time.

This is the easiest and best way for you to introduce yourself professionally. And the key is being able to sound confident, clear, succinct, and do it in a way that invites the other person to ask you a few more questions.

The second use for an elevator pitch—and keeping it very succinct—is so that other people can use it to introduce you to their network in the room or online or through email. They now know what you do, who you help, and what transformations you offer your clients—and maybe they know someone who could benefit from your services or products.

I hope this was helpful! Remember, you're only one sale away from the rich and relaxed lifestyle.
